Laura Kahn officially launched GRIT Fitness in 2020. GRIT Fitness is a full-throttle fitness program based on the concept that GRIT is both a skill and a trait.
GRIT: to have courage and show the strength of your character with passion and perseverance to achieve your goals.
For Laura, B.S. Exercise Physiology, CSCS, the GRIT Fitness concept focuses on reaching your full potential and living your healthiest life.
GRIT Fitness is passionate about promoting a full-body wellness plan, in-home or online.
We have designed and curated powerful on-demand fitness classes that provide an intense workout experience to get you in the best shape of your life!

ABOUT THE COACH
LAURA'S bio
​
Prior to founding GRIT Fitness, Laura Kahn received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Hofstra University, where she excelled playing Division One Soccer and was a three-time Team Captain.
After a notable college soccer career, she was hired as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Hofstra University. Laura worked with both men's and women’s athletic teams, gaining experience coaching at all levels of personal training and exercise physiology.
Laura is highly skilled and certified in the following: NSCA CSCS, TRX, and IndoRow.

Immediately following Laura’s soccer career, she began running competitively as an elite marathon and half marathon runner. Completing several half marathons and full marathons, including the Boston Marathon twice, and achieving her Personal Best Time:
3:17 Boston Marathon
1:27:47 Morristown Half Marathon
Laura's career history includes coaching experience with a competitive Division One College, personal training and coaching in a standard gym setting, professional physical therapy and rehabilitation practice, as well as a certified coach for Orangetheory Fitness.
Laura is passionate about training with clients of all ages and athletic backgrounds. Throughout her 15-year career in the fitness industry, she has gained unrivaled experience and has helped many of her clients achieve and exceed their weight loss, fitness, and health and wellness goals.
